At Advanced Timber Systems we not only sell new machinery and tooling, but also employ a dedicated team of service technicians to offer a 24 hour back-up service for all types of solid timber machinery. With a fully equipped workshop and purpose built field service vehicles we can offer the full range of services either on site or in our premises.
Field Service
To support our fully equipped workshop we have field service vehicles enabling our trained technicians to carry out comprehensive repairs at your factory, therefore reducing your downtime and the overall cost.
These vehicles are fitted out with the appropriate tools including hydraulic bearing pullers and heavy duty tray mounted engineers vice for those difficult jobs. We also carry a comprehensive range of commonly required spares to ensure that you are up and running in the shortest possible time. As well as our own Fullpower range we also work on all types of woodworking machinery including Iida, Wadkin, Weinig, SCM, Leadermac, Mida and many more.
Workshop
Our fully equipped workshop allows us to offer a back-up service that's second to none. With a 1.5m heavy duty centre lathe, 900mm vertical milling machine, precision surface grinder as well as cutting and welding equipment we are able manufacture or repair most urgent or hard to get parts, again ensuring the fastest possible return to service of your valuable machinery.
We also run profile and tool & cutter grinders and offer a template making service enabling us to manufacture and sharpen those urgently required cutters. With a team of service engineers experienced in all types of woodworking and associated machinery we are able to offer a service unparalleled in the industry.
We also specialise in machine refurbishment ranging from "cleaned & serviced" to "fully reconditioned".
Training
Here at ATS we have a team of highly experienced technicians which allows us to offer a full range of training from basic beginner techniques through to advanced skills. Rather than a just a lot of paperwork we offer hands on training either in our showroom or on your premises on your machine.
These courses are tailored to suit the customer's individual requirements and can be tailored from a couple of hours through to days or weeks. While the training is focused on helping you obtain the best from your employees and machinery we are also very conscious of safety & maintenance procedures.
